How to add to the wiki. It takes an account and a few minutes.
Before you start
- Create a wiki account. It is separate from your game account, and sign-up asks one question about the game.
- Your first edits wait for a moderator before they appear. That is the spam filter, not a judgement on your writing.
Changing a page
Open the page and use the edit tab at the top. Fix what is wrong, add what is missing, and say what you changed in the summary box before you save.
Starting a page
Search for the name. If no page exists, the results offer to create it. Ships, Modules and Guides each have a box that starts a page with the right layout already filled in.
Name a page after the thing itself, the way the game spells it: Railgun, not Railguns or Railgun guide.
What every page needs
- An opening sentence that says what the thing is, with its name in bold:

Numbers
Citadel is in early access and numbers change. When you write down a stat, a price or a drop rate:
- take it from the game, not from memory;
- put
{{Early access|October 2026}}at the top with the month you checked it; - if you are not sure, say so on the page rather than guessing.

Game facts and the world
Keep the two apart. What a module does in the current build is a game fact and goes on a gameplay page. What the Clementines believe is part of the world and goes on a world page. Where a subject has both, such as the Breach, give the game facts first and the world under its own heading.
Links and images
Outside links are blocked, apart from thecitadel.com, the official Discord and the official X account. Image uploads open once your account is four days old and has made five edits. Upload screenshots you took yourself.
